Alex Hoehn

Alex L. Hoehn, CPA, was born and raised in St. Peter and graduated from St. Peter High School in 2016. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree (Summa Cum Laude) from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2020, majoring in Accounting and Finance with an emphasis in Financial Planning. In 2019, he was recognized as the Senior Accounting Student of the Year by the College of Business. Alex became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2021.

He began his career in 2019 at a Top 20 national accounting firm, where he spent six years and advanced to the role of Manager. In the fall of 2025, he joined Johnson & Hoehn, Ltd., CPAs.

Alex brings knowledge and experience in:

• Individual tax preparation and planning

• Small business tax preparation and planning

• Trust, estate, and gift tax preparation and planning

• Personal financial planning

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the
Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants, and serves as a Board Member for the Southern Minnesota Hockey Officials Association.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys golfing and traveling in the summer, and in the winter, you’ll find him at the hockey rink, where he stays active officiating youth, high school, and college games.
